The Benefits of a Workflow

When you finish editing and delivering your own wedding you shot #likeaboss under 3 days. 🤞😁 Sure, to any nay sayers, this was a shorter wedding. Longer weddings take an extra day or so to make time to work on the rest of the edits in between family, life and everything else that comes with running your own business. We wear multiple hats! But what if I told you, you could outsource your editing?
I follow the same process as I teach my photographers who I edit for to do: Culling, separating all the photos from the day into categories, anchor edits, picking your sneak peeks and stomping them to share online Facebook, editing the rest of the catalog, saving the catalog, saving the full res images, and then uploading for the client online to deliver. Next is Instagram and blogging for me and their flash drive sent out tomorrow. It took around 8+ hours total from culling to delivering. How?! When you have a workflow in place and you edit multiple weddings in a week, y'all, you get faster! An editor has the experience of editing multiple weddings. Last October, I edited 30 weddings in one month, 34 weddings in November, and 18 in December. I think you would be surprised if I told you how many I edit in a year. It's crazy awesome and definitely work, but I have that drive to do it, plan ahead, implement workflows, and get it done!! If you struggle with your workflow or balancing your life and work, you should seek some help, and hire a private editor to give you your life and time back for the things most important to you! **Need some help with your wedding edits?? I'm your gal! I only have 2 spots left for full timers to fill this year! Click on my website in my profile and send me an email. I promise it will be a game changer for your business!!! 😁

Bunton Family November Minis

I've known the Buntons since 2011! It has been fun watching them add two new little ones to the family and seeing their family grow in love and joy. These kiddos always make me smile. :-)

Launey Family November Minis

I've known Audra's family for a couple years now and I love working with her and her family; watching as their daughter and pup grow. This is my favorite family session of them to date! Enjoy. :-)

Leah & Berkeley's Engagement Session

Loved meeting these two and their families this past weekend! Some sneak peeks while I finish up their gallery! :-) Leah & Berkeley met in college and were just friends to begin with. Let me tell you, some of the best relationships begin as a friendship. One thing I found so amazing is they love to rock climb together. I am SO excited for their wedding in October! # girlbossparty ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # savvybusinessowner  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # communityovercompetition  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # dontquityourdaydream ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # entrepreneurlifestyle  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # theeverydayproject ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # centraltexasphotographer ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # austinfamilyphotographer ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # austinweddingphotographer ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # familyphotos ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # beltonphotographer ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # abilenephotographer ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # mobilepresets ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # JPCpresets ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # lightandairy ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ # desktoppresets

Christopher & Megan Vellekamp Wedding 4.24.16

I met this couple last summer when I did their engagement photos.  They are fun, quirky, and were so relaxed on their wedding day,  which made it easy to photograph their big day.  Their friends and family provided some fun pictures. Congrats, Megan and Chris!  Enjoy!
