FUN FACTS. If you're new on my page, my name is Jennifer and I'm the face behind my camera. I have been shooting weddings and families for almost 7 years now! My oldest boy inspired me to take photos when he turned 1 and good old Pinterest came out. Am I showing my age? 🙊 I was inspired to shoot weddings after I made the mistake of having someone with a fancy camera take our wedding photos! If you ever talk to me, you'll know that that's a no, no! You can't repeat your day of wedding photos. But, thankfully my husband and I were able to do anniversary pictures a few years ago and I'm so thankful we did that! I love so many and have so many favorites from that shoot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Some things about me: I love peanut butter, I love to sing in the car by myself, I am over 6ft tall- yep! I'm practically a giant, haha. My husband ordered a ring off of a guy online and he tried to cheat him out of a ring. Long story short, my first wedding ring ended up being FREE... But I accidentally threw away my wedding ring while cleaning. We were never able to find it and I was devastated! Thankfully, I got a new ring, but I was reminded of the truth that marriage isn't based on a wedding ring. :-)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How to Find the Right Private Photo Editor: Part One

Hi again! Last week, I talked about the 10 signs you need to outsource to a private photo editor. This week I'm going to give you a few tips on how to find the right editor for you! :-) Let's dive right in! 1.The first question you should ask yourself is: What IS your editing style? Bright and Airy, Colorful with a pop/contrast, Film style, Natural and Classy, Moody or Dark,? Do you use presets? Have you made your own preset? Do you like warmer or cooler, creamy skin tones? Maybe you need help developing a style you would like to use consistently. These are all great things to think about before you start looking for an editor. The key to keeping your creative style with an editor is to have one and to implement it.
