Friday

FRIDAY. Some days life just feels just like a wedgie. Sorry T. I used a pic I snapped back during t ball days. 😂🙊 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But I'd rather feel challenged, experience failure, any day over feeling-- mediocre and life happening for me instead of me really living. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Listen friend. You will have days where you'll feel like you need a do over. Don't let those "moments" dictate who you really are. We don't give ourselves enough credit for everything we have already accomplished. So if you are feeling down tonight, start tomorrow focused. I don't care what it is. Do a load of laundry. Organize your bills. Vaccuum the living room. Get that 20 min workout in. Start writing down baby steps of what you are dreaming of doing. DO something. Because true failure is never really trying at all. We forget to see that those failures are moments we can learn from, roots for success. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Rachel Hollis is one of my many mentors and she doesn't even know it. 🤣 She said something at her RISE meetup I just watched on Amazon Prime Video-- y'all go watch it. It's life changing.🙌 Here's what she said and I'm paraphrasing-- There are many successful, knowledgable people out there who probably know more than me and the only difference is they listened to others telling them NO. NO ONE gets to tell you what your dreams are. You decide. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So show up and make it happen! I'm rooting for you! 🥰🏁 What are your dreams?? Comment below. ⬇️ I'd love to know.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My season of "doing" right now are my mobile & desktop presets. I poured my soul into it. Like hours of dedication to this stuff y'all. I want to show others how I have been LOVING being a photographer & editor. Go check it out on my website and use BEMINE for half off! 🎉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A Barnyard Wedding Under the Stars- Sparklers & Spurs- Jerry & Casey

I am catching up on blogging after a busy season and wonderful Thanksgiving with family! This wonderful couple's wedding photos were waiting for them to come back from their honeymoon in October, I shared their sneak peeks on facebook the next day, and I'm just sharing on the blog now, so bear with me! It was a much needed break from social media and enjoying family coming in from PA. :-)  Jerry & Casey had an amazing wedding day with a beautiful first look and stunning views! I thought a Barnyard wedding under the stars was the perfect way to describe their wedding day! I've always wanted some hay bales in wedding pictures and got just the treat. I loved everything about their wedding day and the special love and care I saw they had for each other. How to Find the Right Private Photo Editor: Part One

Hi again! Last week, I talked about the 10 signs you need to outsource to a private photo editor. This week I'm going to give you a few tips on how to find the right editor for you! :-) Let's dive right in! 1.The first question you should ask yourself is: What IS your editing style? Bright and Airy, Colorful with a pop/contrast, Film style, Natural and Classy, Moody or Dark,? Do you use presets? Have you made your own preset? Do you like warmer or cooler, creamy skin tones? Maybe you need help developing a style you would like to use consistently. These are all great things to think about before you start looking for an editor. The key to keeping your creative style with an editor is to have one and to implement it. If you are still in the process of learning your creative style, I help photographers do that and some editors I know can do that too! No worries! Developing your style in the beginning can help you stay on track with the style you want. 2. Do you edit ...
